Bethany Jo Mikelait received her BFA from Queen's University, graduating with first class honours and the John Cameron O Memorial Award in Fine Art. In addition to having her work in private collections across Canada and the USA, she also has much experience with theatre costume and set design. Credits include painting the sets for concerts for Peter McCutcheon (Glenn Gould Studio, 2006) and The Canadian Tenors (Toronto Centre for the Arts, 2007), and designing the costumes for Amadeus, performed at the Tarragon Theatre in 2005. Since 2006, she has been working as a costume designer and production manager for Hamilton's Theatrical Supply in Toronto. Other interests include travelling, photography, children's literature, modern dance, and roughing it in the great outdoors.
